Painting for a Cause: Halloween Date Night – Detroit After Dark

Painting for a Cause is a relaxed, instructor-led painting experience designed for couples of all skill levels—no artistic experience required. Our artist will guide you step-by-step as you create a Halloween-inspired Detroit skyline filled with glowing city lights, a dramatic autumn sky, a full moon, bats, pumpkins, and reflections along the river.

Each couple will create a matching set of canvases designed to come together as one larger Detroit scene. Paint them side by side, add your own details, and make the finished artwork uniquely yours.

The best part? Your creativity can continue making an impact after the event.

At the end of the evening, each artist can choose to take their painting home or donate it to the SPOT 586 Charity Collection. Donated artwork may be featured in our online shop and offered for sale, with 100% of the proceeds benefiting children’s charities.
